This is a Windows Error. The I/O stands for Input/Output.
After you get an I/O Error, you may need to exit MasterPlan and re-enter it again and correct the problem, so that all variables are re-initialized.
Check the Projection
Start Year in the Status Bar. You may have set a Projection Start
Year to a year greater than the year allowed by the program.
MasterPlan does not let you set a Projection Start Year that is greater
than the current calendar year. However, if you have moved the database
from one computer to another, it is possible that you have moved the database
to a computer that is running an older version of MasterPlan.
To correct: Make sure that all your computers have the most recent
version of MasterPlan on them.
You are out of
hard drive space.
To correct: clean up your hard drive to free up more space.
If the cause seems to be more mysterious that those listed above, you can try rebooting your computer.
You might also get an I/O Error 32 after you have gotten another error message.
You have attached an Investment Model to a client's portfolio. On the Description Tab you have said they have zero (0) units.
